My favorite news so far out of Sundance is that the second feature by Joachim Trier, Oslo, August 31st, got a U.S. distributor. Trier, a national skateboarding champion in Norway in his teens, made one of my favorite films of the last few years, Reprise. (One of its two very talented stars, Anders Danielsen Lie, also stars in the new film.)
